Chevrons of presence or seniority with Cross of Lorraine. Machine-embroidered with gold thread on a dark blue background wool.
In September 1941, the General Staff of the Free French Forces put the chevrons back in the spotlight under the same conditions as those of the First World War.
Less generalized than during the First World War and not formalized, the wearing of these chevrons with the Cross of Lorraine will disappear at the end of the Second World War.
To choose from:
- Number of chevrons: from 1 to 7.
1 presence chevron = 1 effective year in the army area and 1 additional chevron for each new 6-month period. The presence chevrons are sewn on the left arm.
Width: 50 mm.
