- Wool color: bluish iron gray, horizon blue 1, horizon blue 2 ,dark blue, green khaki, brown khaki, mustard, khaki called France 1940, other (on request),

- Thread color: dark blue, dark green, scarlet, brown, silver, gold, other (on request),

- Number of chevrons: from 1 to 7.

1 presence chevron - 1 effective year in the army area and 1 additional chevron for each new 6-month period.
The presence chevrons are sewn on the left arm.
The wound chevrons are sewn on the right arm.
