Commandos of Africa shoulder title

Shoulder title with Commandos registration and outline mechanically embroidered with red thread on blue wool.
Escutcheon not topstitched on a same wool color like the sleeve attribute.

Sleeve attribute of the troops from the Free Corps of Africa attached to the 3rd Algerian Infantry Division who have chosen to integrate the Commando units. The first to land in Provence at Cap Nègre in the Var on the night of August 14 to 15, 1944, they liberated Lavandou.
