2 collar tabs of fortress infantry regiment specialized in the defense of the fortifications of the Maginot Line (period 1929 to 1938).

From 1941, the three braids for the insignia were reserved for units in Africa or created outside mainland France.

In background pure wool.
Machine sewn braids.
Hand-sewn numbers.
