Brass plated and bifurcated rivet for fixing the soldier's Adrian helmet crest.
4 bifurcated rivets are used to fix the crest of the Adrian helmet (1 at the front, 1 at the back and 2 above).
Detect the holes of the crest and check if they correspond to those of the helmet. If they are not there, drill corresponding holes to insert the bifurcated part of each rivet and secure the helmet and crest firmly together. You will need elbow grease* which will allow you to hold the rivet in place by spreading the 2 legs.
Head width: 8 mm. Height of the rod: 10 mm.
*From https://www.linguee.fr/ Elbow grease : Elbow grease is an idiom for working hard at manual labour, as in "You need to use some elbow grease." It is a humorous reflection of the fact that some tasks can only be achieved by hard effort and human energy, contrasting with the idea that there should be some special oil, tool or chemical product to make the job easier.
